Angel Acevedo
Former "army brat" and always Delta, Angel studied filmmaking
at Hofstra University where he met fellow Ragtag co-founders, Brian
and Steve. Since the Spring of 2001, they have been producing films,
making fun of each other, and comparing each other's DVD collection
sizes (well, at least Angel has).
Not much of a talker, Angel communicates with the least amount of words as possible. He adheres to a strict diet of Michael Bay, DePalma, the Scott brothers, and Spielberg films.
Angel enjoys shooting and editing episodes of "We Need Girlfriends"
even though it cuts into his nap time. He wants to let audiences
know that the character of "Rod" is loosely based on
himself and that most of what Steve writes is exaggeration and
part of his fantasy. "Rod" is cooler anyways.

Brian Amyot
Born under the cold Tennessee moon in mid-January of 1982, Brian
Amyot was destined to have his last name mispronounced for the
rest of his life. (correct pronunciation is A - me - ot).
Growing up in a conservative, "red state" household
in the snowy city of Liverpool, NY, Brian realized he was different
from the rest of him family. No, it wasn't his blonde hair, being
the middle child, being liberal, or even being left handed; it
was his need to leave snowy Liverpool. He always loved movies
and television, but never knew what a director was. As soon as
he found out, he decided that's what he wanted to be (with the
one exception of wanting to be the tour guide on the Jaws ride
at Universal Studios Orlando). So as soon as he got a chance,
it was off to New York City.
While attending Hofstra University, Brian met Angel Acevedo and Steven Tsapelas. Brian takes credit for bringing Steven and Angel together, and creating one of the most volatile working relationships in film since Alfred Hitchcock and David O. Selznick. After have the two of them star in almost all of his student films, Brian decided to mediate the relationship and all three joined together to found Ragtag Productions.
Out of the friendship and production company has come several
award winning short films that have played in festivals across
the country, a few awesome parties, and the inspiration for their
latest project, "We Need Girlfriends."

Steve Tsapelas
Raised in Bethpage, New York, Steven Tsapelas realized life would
not be all lollipops and ice cream when his elementary school
sent home a letter saying that because he'd failed the New York
State Physical Fitness Test, he would be forced to take "Special
Gym" classes. He quickly shunned all forms of physical activity
in favor of spending 10 to 14 hours a day in front of his television
set, watching anything and everything that the networks executives
of the late '80s and early '90s deemed televise-able.
Steven attended Hofstra University as a Film Studies & Production
major, where he helped to form the Hofstra Filmmakers Club with
Brian Amyot and Angel Acevedo. Quickly realizing that his least
favorite part of production was carrying equipment, he established
himself as the writer of the group. While his senior thesis film
"Be My Valentine, Franny Canada" won Best Film and Best
Director, he never won the Best Writer award, which still plagues
him today, as his arch-nemesis Angel Acevedo took home Best Writer
the following year. Steven will never live this down.
Steven is the oldest, shortest and most neurotic member of Ragtag
Productions. He counts Woody Allen, Wes Anderson and John Carpenter
as his three favorite film directors. His favorite television
show of all time is "Quantum Leap," which formed his
unnatural obsession with all things Scott Bakula. Like the "We
Need Girlfriends" character Henry, Steven enjoys pro wrestling
and comic books. He hopes that one day he gets to write a film
adaption of "Fantastic Four" that does them justice.
