The Cast

Evan Bass
- Rod
Evan, an avid runner and professional douchebag, graduated with a BA from Columbia University with studies in political science and psychology. Also a graduate of the WARD Studio acting program, Evan enjoys acting, breathing, eating, and the other life essentials. He is presently taking classes at UCB and Magnet Theater, learning to cook vegetarian gourmet, and scratching his beard. He's done film stuff and theatre stuff, you probably haven't seen him, if you have you'd know. He needs a girlfriend.

Patrick Cohen
- Tom
A native of Guilford, CT, Patrick is a graduate of Providence College, where he earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts and English. It was in college that Patrick first stepped foot on stage, and has done his best to never leave it. After graduating, he studied at the New England Academy of Theatre, and moved to NYC to pursue acting full time.

Since then, he has appeared at a number of regional theatres, most notably Long Wharf Theatre and The River Rep, and has been in over a dozen plays here in New York.

Patrick has also appeared in a number of independent films, most notably He & She, starring Armand Assante, and the horror feature films Scalp (PC Productions), Feeding the Masses, and Raving Maniacs (Scorpio Film Releasing).

Patrick is thrilled to be a part of We Need Girlfriends because, frankly, he does, and he can relate. He is grateful to everyone involved in the project here at Ragtag, especially Brian, Steve, and Angel, for giving him the opportunity to work on such a fun and exciting project.

Seth Kirschner - Henry
Seth Kirschner: (1) According to the Surgeon General, women should not have Seth Kirschner during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) Consumption of Seth Kirschner impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems. Consume Seth Kirschner responsibly.

Brigitte Hagerman - Lucy
Within five months of deciding to become an actress, this Indiana-born New York resident became an active member of Screen Actors Guild (SAG). Since joining SAG, Brigitte has worked in television as well as numerous short and feature length films. Including but not limited to Law and Order: SVU, Freeman (Brussels Film Festival), Homework (Tribeca Film Festival), and Cold Dark Night of Brilliance (Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival).

Discovered by actor Jeff Goldblum and is represented by D.D.O Artist Agency it is her compassionate yet eccentric presence combined with her ability to become the part that has drawn her to acting.

Coming to New York at the age of sixteen, to dance with the Joffrey Ballet School, Brigitte had already won numerous awards as both as ballet dancer and choreographer. But her love of great cinema and her ability to transcend numerous roles’ as an actress is what enables her to become a director’s favorite.

Olivia Villanti - Sarah
When Olivia was seven years old, she wrote in her journal that when she grew up she wanted to be an actress because "they travel over the world to India." The India part hasn't quite worked out yet but she's been acting since.

Her least favorite part of acting is writing bios, but she can be persuaded by charming, witty and funny men of the Ragtag Productions variety.

Outside of acting she does in fact love traveling and her most prized possession is her Breville juicer. Seriously. She does not, actually, need a girlfriend but wishes all the people that do the best of luck.

Rob Alicea - Kevin
As a kid, Rob had boundless energy and could never seem to shut up (FYI, not much has changed...), so when he was 9 years old his mother sent him to the local Queens Public Library to participate in their after-school reading program - this program allowed the kids to not only read the various stories out loud, but act them out as well; he was bitten by the bug!

Attending an all male military school for fours years (told you this guy was trouble!), he gave up the pursuit of acting until college, where he knew exactly where to meet the babes - theatre class! He hasn't stopped the pursuit since...both the acting and the babes

Rob's heroes include: Sylvestor Stallone, Paris Hilton, and Cool Whip. Rob is currently studying with Bill Esper at the William Esper Studio in New York City, NY.

Summer Hagen
- Jenny
Summer went to the WNG audition because the notice said there would be free wine coolers and sloppy joes. There weren't. However, she was so pleasantly surprised at how stunningly attractive the production team was, that she decided to stay.

An actress and karaoke enthusiast, Summer left her home state of Minnesota after a freak hot-dish accident which left her paralyzed in the right pinky. Her stunt double does all on camera hand-movement.

She is pretty darn excited to be a part of "We Need Girlfriends," and hopes that it will make her famous with the show's lesser known fan base in Zimbabwe.

Johanna Igel - Lauren
Johanna graduated from Northwestern University last year with a double major in Theatre and Psychology. Since then, she has moved back to her little hometown of New York City. Growing up in New York, she has met plenty of Rods and hopes she can teach them all a lesson someday! For now, she's taking classes at UCB to prepare for her future in sitcoms, so she's super happy to be a part of WNG!

She loves to cook and bake for pretty much any and every occasion. Other random info: She likes skiing, amusement parks, would be SO thankful for a game night in real life, kir royale is her favorite drink, she hates frizzy hair weather, and she doesn't eat anything green except guacamole and green grapes - unless she's tricked! And she collects pennies.

Shayna Freedman - Allison
As the title suggests, Shayna currently is in need of a girlfriend. She loves dark chocolate, daisies, and money, and would gladly receive any offers of the above. (Please contact the Ragtag boys for contact information.)

She's a passionate advocate of Parkinson's disease research and arts education, and is an active member of both the Parkinson's Unity Walk and American's for the Arts. She challenges you to join her in making a difference.

Shayna's hair would like to thank Devahcan salon and credits each bounce to Uta Hagen's coaching. Neverending thanks and love to Maddie for her inspiration.

Amy Rutledge - Carol

Born and raised in Washington,NJ, Amy is the oldest of five. She studied acting at the University of Rhode Island, but decided after two years to move to New York City where she did several independent films.

Amy is thrilled to be a part of the very talented "We Need Girlfriends" crew!

Steve LaChioma
- Dennis
Steven LaChioma is really amazing. No Bull. Reigning from Newburgh, NY, he attended Hofstra University and SUNY New Paltz where he studied Theatre and flat out dominated. He is good. Thats a fact. He doesn't need to list all of his acting credits because Jesus knows and that's all that matters.

At the moment he is studying acting under Tom Sizemore where he is mastering the art of Peyote binging and beating up prostitutes. It's going really well. An accomplished voice-over actor , he is extremely serious about his career and is dedicated to his craft. He has been working with Ragtag for over five years now and is curious when they are all going to finally come out of the closet. Is he right or is he right? C'mon guys.

He looks forward to future projects with them and working with all of the cast and crew. And in case you were wondering ladies, he does have a girlfriend and she is smoking hot. Extremely smoking hot. Bottom line: Steven LaChioma takes care of business.
